The first track to be released from the album Ordinary Things. After a show of all our quiet acoustic songs a friend, Gillian Francis, said, I could listen to that all day, why don't you record an album of all those songs.... so we did. We started recording in January 2020 and of course the next two years threw everyone into a new world. The album grew as we remembered more songs from a site specific show we make and perform called KlangHaus. We take over buildings and create a promenade gig with instruments set up in several rooms and films responding to the acoustic of the space, the architectural features, the history of the place and the ghosts. Small audiences are taken on a journey through the building and find themselves inside the music.... partly because there is no stage, we are all standing together in the sound and in the projected light and films. It's an affecting adventure in sound and light.
